How to Get a Copy of Your Credit Report

If you need a copy of your most recent credit reports from any of the 3 major credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, and you don’t know where to get them from, then this article is for you!

Accessing your credit reports is a fairly simple process.

Instructions:

  1. If you want a free copy of your reports once a year, something we don’t recommend, that you can view online, or to request a hard copy that takes up to two weeks to receive via regular mail, then go online to AnnualCreditReport.com

Scroll down to the end of the page and click the red box “Request Your Free Credit Reports”

Complete the form online and pick the reports you want mailed to you. If you choose to view your reports online, you’ll complete the same step for each bureau.

*Note: The free credit reports do not include your credit scores and each time you view them online it’s the same report; never updated.

  1. We do recommend that you sign up for a credit monitoring service. That way, you can access your reports every month to track your progress. To begin, login to your member account

Under “Resources,” click on “Get Credit Report.”

Will open in a new tab to our preferred credit monitoring service “IdentityIQ,” and there you’ll be able to sign up for your 3 reports and credit scores for each bureau. This site offers daily credit monitoring, identity protection, and fraud alerts.

Once inside, click the link “Get Yours Now” inside the red box. Create and activate your account by completing the form.

Your reports are refreshed every 30 days, unlike with the free credit report.

That’s it!
